Enjoying exercising with MumAre the four walls closing in around you?  Your baby want stop crying?  You look down and wonder why gravity seems to be making everything head south on a holiday after the birth of your bub?  Just walking up the driveway, you’re out of breath.  Is this normal?

 Fighting Fit FNQ will let you in on a little secret….you and your baby are normal.  Escape the four walls, improve your fitness levels, and come and join other Mums N Bubs, in the wide open spaces.    We keep changing the location to keep things interesting with a variety of training including boxing, aqua, circuit training, flexibility, and strength.

 One of the great things about Mums and Bubs is that combines gym membership, crèche, personal training, and nutrition at a time when you need it the most.  We make fitness fun for mums; getting fit is easier if you enjoy it!  Even though you may not be getting much sleep, as your levels of fitness and health increase, so will the quality of those ‘power’ naps.

 We focus on post natal needs such as core stability and pelvic floor re-activation, as well as, cardiovascular and resistance training exercises to work all the major muscle groups.  Increasing your strength and general fitness level, to run around and play with your family.

 Mum's at workInitially the goal is often to get back in shape; however, you will quickly notice as you get stronger simple daily activities become easier.  Your body will be less prone to injury and as you increase your muscle you burn more calories, increasing your metabolism, making it easier to burn the ‘yucky’ fat.  On top of all this, you’ll make friends with other mums who are probably having the same troubles and triumphs that you are.

 With a great variety of exercises we will increase upper and lower body strength to help you meet the demands of baby care.  Reduce the risk of osteoporosis, high blood pressure and lower cholesterol levels.  When you are feeling great this also decreases anxiety and depression.

 Not only is this a great opportunity to meet new mums and share experience and knowledge, you save money, as bub comes with you.  One other little secret we will let you in on too, is that your baby also joins in, not locked away in a play pen.  It is the great outdoors for everyone.
